An announcement came out earlier this month that Murfreesboro's Richard Siegel Soccer Complex will be hosting the US Youth Soccer President's Cup in July 2010.
This comes on the heels of an earlier announcement that the same facility will host the Southern Regionals of the US Soccer National Championship Series in June 2011.
The Southern Regionals will feature state champions from eleven states as they attempt to advance to the National Championship.
The President's Cup is another national series for club teams in U14 through U17 and in 2009 featured teams from California, Texas, New York, Illinois, North Carolina, Florida and more.
Mark your calendars now for your chance to watch some great youth soccer:
Presidents Cup Finals : July 8 - 11, 2010
Southern Regionals : June 18 - 22, 2011
And congratulations to Murfreesboro!

Welcome to Music City Soccer
There are a lot of interesting things happening in the Nashville Soccer community and in the ways it relates to Soccer around the world. I'm starting this blog to talk about some of them. I'm also building a companion website that will have a directory of local resources and other content. You can visit the website by following this link.
Some of the things I'll talk about here are of interest to players ... new local leagues ... new levels and styles of play (futsal, street soccer, etc) ... club changes and growth.
Other things will interest spectators and fans ... local events ... the World Cup Bid ... College, pro and other top-level action.
A quick bio of me : I am a Soccer Dad and sometimes coach with two kids. One has played a little, the other has played a lot and continues to play at a local club.
Stay-tuned ... I think it will be fun.
